Chrome OS includes built-in Google services, supports Android apps, and provides excellent security and battery life. Students, occasional users, and anyone who works mostly online will find it a great online partner.
Netflix Official App for Chrome OS / Chromebook
Netflix Official app is not available for all Chromebooks but you can still use it via the following methods.
✅ Method 1: Watch Netflix in a Web Browser (Recommended)
To watch the Netflix app using your web browser, follow these steps
Steps
- Launch the Chrome browser.
- Navigate to netflix.com.
- Log in to your Netflix account.
- Boom, you are ready to watch your favorite seasons, movies or shows.
✅ This method supports HD playback and works on any Chromebook.
✅ Method 2: Use the Android App
Netflix app can be downloaded from the Play Store on certain Chromebooks.
Steps:
- Launch the Google Play Store on your Chromebook.
- Search for Netflix from Netflix Inc.
- Click Install, then open the app.
- Log in and start browsing your favorite movies or shows.
📦 Install Netflix Mod APK on Chrome OS (Chromebook)
Direct APK installation is not supported by Chrome OS by default; however, depending on the model of your Chromebook, you can do it by turning on Developer Mode and Linux or Android Debugging.
Note : Netflix Mod APK is also available for other devices eg: for Mac OS, Ubuntu OS
There are two main methods:
✅ Using Android Debug Bridge (ADB) – Recommended
Prerequisites:
- Chromebook with Android app support.
- ADB enabled (via Developer Mode or “Linux Developer Environment”).
- Basic command-line usage.
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode or ADB Debugging
If your Chromebook supports ADB:
- Go to Settings → Advanced → Developers.
- Look for Android Debugging, and turn it on.
- You may be asked to Restart.
Your Chromebook might not support ADB like the above method:
- You may asked to switch to Developer Mode, which will wipe your local data.
(Not suggested for informal users.)
Step 2: Enable Linux Development Environment
- Navigate to Settings → Advanced → Developers → Linux development environment.
- Click Turn On and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: Download Your APK File
- Download the premium Netflix Mod APK unlocked version from the Download page and save it to your Downloads folder.
Step 4: Install ADB Tools
- Open the Terminal (from the App Launcher).
- Type in the following command:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install adb
Step 5: Connect ADB to Android Subsystem
Type this command:
adb connect 100.115.92.2:5555
If prompted on your Android side (inside Chrome OS), click Allow.
Step 6: Install the APK File
To install the Netflix Unlocked APK, run the following command:
adb install ~/Downloads/netflix_mod.apk
Replace netflix_mod.apk with the actual file name.

Now, the app ought to show up in your App Launcher among other Android apps.
